IU Foundation, a non-profit, public charity organization (EIN# 39-2053447) with the tax-exempt status under section 501(c)3 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Services Code, believes in the benefits of international education and has a purpose in providing opportunities for students and general public to have better understanding of the world where we live in.

The foundation thrives to achieve such missions mainly by following activities :
  1. Financially supporting students of all backgrounds worldwide, who will be/are pursuing associate/ undergraduate or graduate degree programs in a country other than their own;

  2. Organizing various public events with guest speakers and experts on related topics to encourage individuals and groups to have better understanding of what we do, and eventually to have the experience of studying and living abroad, and

  3. Publishing various forms of publications related to international education and its benefits for the world.
The operational and administrative costs of the foundation are funded through a generous donation made by Mr. Elijah Bhang, the president and chief executive officer of the IU Group, Inc. The foundation's activities and programs are wholly separate from those of the company.
